I took 3 weeks off blogging. We often take health for granted. And we should not… Health problems are stressful and terrifying. Thank you for all great words of support and help! It was amazing. Thank you, Thank you all. We’ve been magically blessed by absolutely good results and news. We’re grateful and thankful to all who supported and helped us. Special thanks for BIDMC Boston. They are truly amazing. My wife is back home and things are slowly getting better. So, it is a time for me to think how to come back to Beyond PLM.

I missed blogging. Doing it almost every day for the last nine years, blogging became part of my daily brain exercise. Even, I had no time and mental strength to do for the last 3 weeks, I was thinking about the day I will come back.

This morning, I open my regular email I’m using for blogging to get back to my daily blog. But, I felt that things have changed and I want to change Beyond PLM. For long period of time, blogging was part of sharing my thoughts with you. I loved it a lot and I will continue to do so. You will get a portion of my daily thoughts. Promise!

But together with that, I want to change Beyond PLM. I’ve been thinking about many things to improve, but the following thought struck me as the most important – I want to open Beyond PLM to other people. I know many of you are doing great things in engineering, manufacturing, technology and software. To share what you do, can make it better and it is very important  as you do so. Some of you are writing comments and emails. Some of you sent me topics you want me to cover the blog. I didn’t do much about it until now. And it is going to change!

I decided to help to all people that passionate about CAD, PDM, PLM, engineering and manufacturing to share your thoughts and experience with others using Beyond PLM. I still don’t have a plan. I will think and learn about it in the next 2-3 weeks.  But here is an idea – in addition to my regular daily blogs on Beyond PLM, I will open it to contribution – guest blog posts, articles, customer stories. I will share it for you. If you have a story and you think people might like it, talk to me. I will come with the mechanics, publishing and tools to do it. I might help you to write article, publish your story or to let you to become Beyond PLM contributors.

What is my conclusion? It is a time for Beyond PLM to open up and help others to share their stories. If you have ideas for blogs or you have articles to share, reach me out oleg @ beyondplm dot com. I’d be happy to collaborate with you about anything you want to share. It is not just thoughts. We will do it together!

Best, Oleg
