December 31st is a great day to write recaps. 2018 was a very crazy intense with lot of stress and activities pushing me to the limit of what is possible to do. Beyond PLM was celebrating 10 years in 2018. One of the ways to look on a blog is to check number of blogs and page views. However, Beyond PLM for me a different things – it is way to share knowledge and communicate with friends, colleagues and many of your I never seen. Each time when I come to a conference, I discover new people that reading my blog and this is probably one of the best feelings.

In 2018, I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone by starting a video blog on Beyond PLM. It wasn’t a simple decision. I choose a topic which I’m very passionate about – Bill of Materials. I usually call Bill of Materials a lifeblood of manufacturing. Bill of Materials is also a core element of  every single PLM implementation in every manufacturing company. I believe in simplification of enterprise IT and this video blog is my contribution to a great demand for resources helping people to understand PLM technologies and products.

If you missed my earlier blog, please check  top Beyond PLM discussions from 2018 .

And here is the latest recap from BOMusings video blog.

What is my conclusion? 10 years is just the beginning. I look forward to build Beyond PLM for the next 10 years as a useful source of information for people learning, using and developing engineering and manufacturing technologies and products. Look forward to be in touch with you in 2019. Happy New Year!

Best, Oleg
